Jimin‘s art and muse are one and the same on his sophomore solo album

which the BTS star announced on Weverse Monday (June 17) is arriving later this summer.

Titled MUSE, the project will feature seven tracks, including the previously released single “Closer Than This,”

which he dropped in December. The album will arrive July 19,

less than a year and a half after the 28-year-old singer released his 2023 debut solo album FACE, which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200.

“Following his first solo album, ‘FACE,’ where he sought to explore his true identity, ‘

‘MUSE’ documents his journey in search of the source of his inspiration,”

reads BigHit Music’s post on Weverse,

which notes that the project will showcase “Jimin’s expanded musical spectrum.”

Leading up to the album’s arrival, “a diverse array of content will be unveiled to provide a further glimpse

into MUSE, adds a press release from HYBE.
