Chelsea have agreed a deal to sign Pedro Neto from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The west London side will pay a fee of €60million (£51.4m; $65.5m)

plus €3m in potential bonuses to sign Neto, who will undergo a medical shortly.

The 24-year-old made 20 Premier League appearances for Wolves last season amid two spells out with hamstring injuries,

registering two goals and nine assists.

He returned to fitness at the end of the season and was part of the Portugal squad that competed at the European Championship,

appearing in all three of their group-stage fixtures but remaining an unused substitute in their last-16 and quarter-final matches.

Personal terms are not yet fully agreed, but those final details should be just a formality.

There were no rumors of this deal leading up today’s bombshell,

though the Blues were said to be actively looking for a new right winger for a while now.

Neto is left footed and can play on either flank, but should provide some strong competition for Noni Madueke
